Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)

Welcome to Croxley Danes School and to the school Parent Teacher Student Association (CDS PTSA). All parents/carers of children at the school automatically become members of the CDS PTSA. New Starter Stationery Packs

Since 2018, the PTSA has been offering New Starter Stationery Packs to our new Year 7s. Following detailed feedback from faculty leaders and parents, we have developed the contents of our stationery packs over the years and now provide most of the items on the essential equipment list that your child will need when they join Croxley Danes School.

1 x Scientific calculator (Casio FX83GTX)

1 x Maths/Geometry set (Helix brand)

1 x Glue stick 43g

1 x Scissors (ambidextrous)

1 x 30cm ruler

12 x Assorted colouring pencils

4 x Assorted highlighters

4 x Assorted whiteboard pens

2 x Black biros

2 x Green biros

2 x 2B pencils

2 x HB pencils

We buy in bulk from the wholesalers, and work hard with them on pricing, so are able to offer these stationery packs to our parents at a very competitive price of £39.50 each. We have done a price comparison with Amazon and the high street and found that the pack contents would cost between £55.00 and £65.00 at retail prices so this is great value for money, and you will also save the time it takes to source all the different items yourself. We have kept the price competitive, which we hope will be a small help to parents at a time when so many household costs are increasing.

The shop will open on Monday 3rd June and close on Sunday 30th June. Packs cannot be ordered after this date, so please order early to avoid disappointment.

Pre-ordered packs will be ready for collection from school at the Transition Evening on Thursday 11th July. Any remaining packs will be available to purchase in-person that evening, on a first-come first- served basis.

Second-hand Uniform & PE Kit Sale

We will be running a sale of second-hand uniform and PE kit on Saturday 13th July from 9:00am until 11:00am at the school. The sale will be open to all parents, not just new Year 7s, and is always hugely popular. All proceeds from the second-hand uniform sales go straight to the PA which in turn benefits the students and school. Come along and grab a bargain!

Stikins Name Labels

We are happy to inform parents that the Croxley Danes School Parent Association has partnered with the label company Stikins.

Stikins name labels are really easy to use – no sewing or ironing – just stick them to the wash-care label on clothing. They are washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and even microwave proof! You can use them on just about anything that your child brings to school – coats, clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles, shoes, bags, PE kits, glasses cases, trainers, musical instruments, phones etc. You will find the

The PA earns 30% commission on every order placed when our unique fundraising number is quoted on the order. Our fundraising number is 35954.

By purchasing your labels through Stikins, you will be helping to cut down on the amount of unnamed lost property in school and also helping to raise funds for the PA, which in turn benefits the students and school.
